On the road again...

Heigh, ho! Heigh, ho! We're off to Ohio!

Columbus, Ohio and the CHEO convention is the Resounding Voice destination this weekend. All us Erber kiddos will be heading east for the conference along with faithful co-workers Luke VonHolten and Dustin Webb, leaving Dad and Mom home for the weekend.

The CHEO organization is very beloved in the Erber household. Sara's family is involved in running the organization (thus we met her), Jeremy & Sara are the editors for CHEO's magazine, and it is like visiting with family to be there with them. And it was at the CHEO convention in 2003 that Nathan met Jeanine for the first time (although others of the Erber and DeLadurantey families had met previously). AND, not to be left out, the color scheme of the convention center matches Josh's booth set-up!

Anyway, I need to go finish packing everything up. We're supposed to pull out in 1 hour and 5 minutes!

Hope all goes well in Ohio, we will be thinking and praying for you all and the conference. No breakdowns Josh! :-) Send our greetings to the Back family.

Lest anyone think that poor Rog and Maggie will be bored at home without their kiddos, and won't know what to do . . . we're having a "romantic" weekend starting today - we're scrubbing and refinishing the floors on our main level, then it's off to Nathan & Jeanine's house - overnight!

They say the family that works together, stays together!

I think I've also heard that the family that plays/prays/stays/laughs together, stays together...

This convention is also very dear to some of us due to the Very Cold air conditioning that they have in the lobby that we are in.

:-) Hurrah!

Maggie - You do know how to plan a romantic weekend - just a hint, you might want to throw in a dinner out :)

Your night away at the Del-Lodge sounds nice :)

Enjoy - Diana

I am off to Africa this Saturday to visit the Leidenfrosts. Please pray for my good health during travel because my eyes are acting up again and for my safety as I am traveling alone. Please also pray that Lisa has enough energy to enjoy my visit.

Yesterday the doctor could find no signs of iritis in my eye, which is very rare after getting such pronounced symptoms. My eye was bright red on Tuesday. I still have symptoms such as light sensitivity, but they are diminishing.

Thank you for your prayers.
