SNOW!!

Okay, so it isn't more than a dusting, but even so, there's white stuff on the ground and more flurries in the forecast for today.

The guys finished installing the basement stove and chimney just in time and we had our first fire in it last night. So now the winter winds may blow!

It's cold here too in Missouri, but we haven't seen any that white stuff yet. We love the snow, but it's a bit early .

You know, it's hard to think about packing for a weekend in Alabama when it has been snowing all day and the wind chill is currently below zero...

Kollers - When do you all usually get your first snow?

We have had snow on Thanksgiving before, and it isn't unusual to have snow by mid-December. However, we have been spoiled these past couple years, we haven’t had much snow at all and what snow we have had has fallen in January and February. We are due for some heavy snowfalls.

I'm so jealous!

Last night was our coldest in a while (it did get down into the 30s), but as for snow - forget it!
