Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. The Lord so wisely told His people to "remember" what He has done, and to recount these things to their children, and their children's children. We find that throughout the year these days of remembering help anchor us and help us keep all that is going on around us in perspective. Our family loves reflecting on the stepping stones that have brought us to where we are today. We also love feasting! Our heavenly Father deserves much thanks and praise! ~ Maggie

Here's the Thanksgiving table almost prepared for the feast.

The turkey carving ritual has begun. . .
and more food comes out of the oven!

The banquet begins to be set out...

We're ready to feast!

. . . and feasting we did!

What a joy to be with family who are also our best friends!

Jeanine, Jessica, and Joanna kibitz as they whip the cream and get dessert ready!

Let the games begin!!

Scrabble, first.

Aunt Jill & Charlotte also enjoy playing together.

It was truly a blessed Thanksgiving with family and friends.

That night a certain few planned their Black Friday shopping.
Yes, they went and did it at midnight and on through til dawn!

Can you tell which sister shopped 'til she dropped?

'Twas a great weekend!

Thanks for including Justin in your feast day. Looks like a great spread, as usual. And I am sure there was plenty of fun and laughter to be had by all!
