Trivia

The coldest July on record (for our area) was back in 1967, when the average temperature for the month was 76 degrees.

Our average temperature in July 2009 was 69 degrees. I think we need to start thinking about seriously pursuing global warming.

Global warming is not just about hot weather....it's about the extremes in weather. Hence the average temp is July being 69.

Do your research.

Global warming you say? Bring it on! I would love some more normal summer weather, only without all the world's-end gloom and doom, please. :)

Back in that one week in June when it was 90 out, I was afraid it was going to be a steaming hot summer... now it appears that our trees think it's fall! :-)

We had them made during the cold, cold winter that never seemed to want to leave and now we have a very cool summer too:)

Regarding the comment made by anonymous that global warming is about extremes, I looked up the government definition and here it is...

An overall increase in world temperatures which may be caused by additional heat being trapped by greenhouse gases.
