Last weekend we attended Providence Church's Reformation Day Faire. We had a wonderful time and a big thank to you all who worked so hard to organize and host this event! These few pictures and comments hardly give so much as a hint at the day, but at least it is something!
Friday afternoon, evening, and Saturday morning were great times of music (Genevan Foundation Psalm Sing, and Charlie Zahm) a collection of very interesting lectures, and lots of low clouds and rain. Then, Saturday afternoon, right as we were getting ready for the outdoor activities, out came the sun! Praise the Lord!
"Ye Olde Town Square" - It was beautiful out and so fun to see so many walking around in costume! Mid-afternoon we headed over to the park for the "Highland Games"...
Caber Toss - Winner: Joseph Erber!!!
Shot Put - Winner: Joshua Erber!!!
It was a long day, but very enjoyable! Thanks again, Providence Church, for hosting the event!

Congrats to the winners! from "a Reformation Day Faire absentee."
Thanks for being neighbors who set a great example of being about the Father's business. You know this, but I'll say it anyway: Your work is not in vain in the Lord!
Speaking of, I'm looking forward to enjoying the fruits of your labors in March 2010! (Not to be sadist or anything.)

It certainly was a fun weekend! It was great to see 2 of our guys win the games!
Though next year if we all go both days I think we should try to stay in the same hotel... :-)
Looks like the Erber men are quite strong!! Too bad they couldn't come to our Reformation and do the pillow fights and wheelbarrow jousting! Ah, California is just too far to come for a weekend.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year!
Love & Blessings, Mrs.H
Sounds like your Reformation Day was a lot of fun. But then, knowing you all, I'd be rather surprised if it wasn't! Too bad California is such a distance...
We are definitely looking forward to next spring! And we have some fun plans in the making, too. :-)

Congratulations to the Erber winners.
