Isn't she sweet?
Since the weather has been so beautiful around here during the last week, on Friday night the Hill family invited our family and the VonHoltens over for a cookout, volleyball, and some 'round the campfire visiting.
Yes, the fire was very hot! But that was good as the temperature dropped as the sun set.

Well, we didn't get many pictures! :) And that one of us playing volleyball is really pathetic. It must have been a "volley for serve" because there is extremely little action going on! In fact, some look unaware that there is a ball around! :)
Okay, I have to ask. What is Mr. Von Holten hiding from in the fire pit picture? Either he has really sensitive skin and is hiding from the heat or Mr. Erber has no eyebrows left!
Yes, the fire really was HOT! Dad apparently was okay by laying close to the ground and being shielded slightly by the stones around the fire pit... :)
