Liberty Day '07

Information for the 2007 Liberty Day Celebration and Conference is now online! It took awhile, but it's finally up and we are very excited! Click here!

New this year is an Essay Contest we are hosting. We have three categories for anyone from ages 8-99, so get your pens out and write up something about a person or event from the American colonial/revolutionary era that inspires you, incites your respect, or exemplifies honor - especially as it relates to the establishment or defense of liberty.

The dates are February 23-24, 2007. Yes, it's two days this time! Check it out. We hope to see you there!

Hello there-
I have a couple of questions about the essay contest.
1. I just want to clarify that 250 words is the minimum and 350 is the maximum? (for the 2nd category)
and 2. Is the title of the essay and the author's name included in the word count? I tend to use up every word I can get... :-)

Thanks...Counting down the days till February 23 & 24!

Yes, 250 is the minimum and 350 is the maximum word count. But, title and author's name are in addition to that number. The actual body of the text is all that is counted!

Can't wait to read what you write!

Happy writing!
